IP Law

Claims that hold. Portfolios that earn.

An IP right is only as good as the invention it covers and the claim language it lives in. We draft for breadth and durability, prosecute with examiners (not against them), and build portfolios that actually get used — to raise, to license, and to defend.

Areas we cover

Patent

Provisional and non-provisional drafting, prosecution, PCT and national-phase filings, freedom-to-operate, and enforcement for software, hardware, and emerging-tech inventions.

Trademark

Brand clearance, prosecution, oppositions, and global portfolio strategy — from word marks and logos to trade dress and non-traditional marks.

Copyright

Registration, ownership and assignment structuring, licensing, fair-use analysis, and enforcement for software, content, and creative works.

Industrial Design

Industrial-design and design-patent filings, prosecution, and enforcement to protect product appearance, UI, and ornamental innovation.

Geographical Indication

GI registration, producer-association advisory, and protection strategy for region-specific goods, including post-grant enforcement.

What we do

  • IP eligibility & prior-art search
  • Provisional & non-provisional drafting
  • Office-action response & prosecution
  • PCT & national-phase filings
  • Freedom-to-operate opinions
  • Portfolio strategy & landscaping
  • Licensing, assignment & valuation support
  • Pre-litigation & enforcement counsel

Drafting that respects the invention

We sit with engineers and read the code, the schematic, or the dataset before we touch a claim. The goal is not to file — it is to file something worth granting and worth holding. Every spec we produce is reviewed for enablement, written description, and downstream amendability.

Prosecution as a craft

Office actions are a conversation. We treat them as such — answering art on the merits, narrowing claims surgically when narrowing is right, and pushing back where the rejection won’t hold. The result is shorter prosecution histories and fewer landmines for litigation later.

Portfolios with a thesis

A pile of IP is not a portfolio. We help clients build coverage that maps to product roadmap, geography, and exit narrative — and we prune what no longer serves the thesis.
